Bio Established Dorset’s tourism service before joining New Forest DC in 1987. Set up Go New Forest CIC in 2017. Creator of the VERB destination management model and the Economics of Visitor Happiness. Awarded Government Beacon Status for sustainable tourism in 2004, OBE in 2005 and World Responsible Tourism winner in 2007. Totally focussed on local resilience and inclusion, “good” tourism and embedding it all into the wider economy and the world at large wherever possible.
