Collaborative Learning with industry experts

The Tourism Society believes that the tourism industry must train and support its future leaders and so is keen to be involved in developing partnerships between those just starting out on their careers  with those already operating within the industry.

This approach can give students that competitive advantage that sets them apart and so we work together with Universities and Colleges in a range of ways to achieve this.  These activities can include:

Industry-led Academic Research – Opportunities to develop industry insights through undergraduate and post-graduate collaborative research.

Practice-based learning – Industry-led problem-solving opportunities for university students to work on real-world challenges facing travel tourism organisations.

Curriculum Design – Current-thinking and professional expert input into tourism modules to address learning and skills gaps between industry and academia..

Mentorship – Exclusive access to industry leaders and professional experts across the entire travel and tourism sector for collaborative university mentorship programming. Enhance career prospects for motivated students.
