Bio Mike has over 30 years of travel industry sales and marketing experience. Currently Managing Director of travel and leisure specialist communications consultancy Bugsgang & Associates. Mike has worked in the outbound, inbound and domestic sectors of the tourism industry. His career started as a sales representative for leading package holiday operator at the time, Global Tours. Mike then moved to the London Tourist Board as Marketing Manager before taking on the role as Sales & Marketing Director at Ladbroke Holidays. Ladbroke acquired Hilton International Hotels and Mike became PR Director responsible for 150 hotels in 48 countries around the world. He is a Fellow and former board director of the Tourism Society and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Past Chairman of its Travel Industry Group. As a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, Mike was proud to be made a Freeman of the City of London in 2018.
