Bio Falling into travel almost by chance via Horse & Hound, Ian came into luxury travel via business consultancy, then launched the consumer title World of Cruising and built a multi-million-pound travel business in his 30s. He was then head hunted into ultra-luxury cruising establishing and building the SeaDream Yacht Club brand. After a hiatus with airlines, he returned to business consultancy before being head hunted back into retail by The Cruise Line Ltd with the challenge of creating a tour operation and expanding its B2B offering. He is responsible for the creation of an annual client brand sudit on environmental best practices at sea, called the Green report and with board colleagues is committed to reducing Tourism Impact, developing the Company’s environmental commitment, and driving sustainable projects and actions.
